About Us

​

We provide quality weekly Ballet and Dance classes for girls and boys aged from 2  - 18 years old.

We also provide Speech & Drama tuition, Silver Swans Adult Ballet and Parent & Toddler Ballet.

​

Our classes take place in beautiful studios in Wells Town Hall, Market Place, Wells, Somerset BA5 2RB.

​

We follow the Royal Academy of Dance Ballet, ISTD Modern & Tap and Trinity Speech & Drama syllabus.

We hold regular dance and drama exam sessions where our students gain excellent results. 

Students have lots of opportunities to perform in our dance shows and in regional dance competitions.

Wells Ballet School was set up by Zoe Burton BA (Hons) Ballet Royal Academy of Dance, LRAD, RST, AISTD, AIDTA & ALAM and

provides tuition for approximately 250 students. All our teachers are highly qualified and experienced teachers.

​

We are affiliated with Somerset Dance Umbrella where students can take Modern, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary & Musical Theatre classes

in Wells Town Hall. We collaborate to provide a comprehensive timetable for our students.

We pride ourselves on the standard of dance and drama technique reached by our students.

Students have gained places at leading London professional dance schools and ballet courses to further their training.

We are a happy and caring school that strives to encourage a love of dance and performing arts.

Many of our students start in Pre-school Ballet and continue until they are Advanced Ballet and aged 18 years old.

Pupils develop fitness, flexibility, posture, poise, coordination, musicality, artistry and self confidence.
